Batley Community Choir began in September 2014 with the aim of bringing together members of the local community in and around Batley, West Yorkshire.

The ethos is one of a shared enthusiasm and passion for singing music, and the plan is simple - to get together and sing regularly, to meet new people and to have fun. There are no auditions - anyone who wants to join can.

Our first performance took place in December 2014, when we sang at All Saints Church, Batley, as part of their Christmas Tree Festival.
